Le 10 mai 2011, un grand concert gratuit sur la Place de la Bastille réunira notamment Yannick Noah, Gotan Project, Alpha Blondy, Soprano, JP Nataf, Twin Twin, Ariel Wizman (dj set) …

Ce grand concert populaire, organisé par Pierre Bergé et Matthieu Pigasse, réunira toutes les musiques pour tous les publics : pop, hip hop, reggae, électro, artistes de grande renommée ou en devenir. Rendez-vous le 10 mai 2011 à partir de 19h30 place de la Bastille pour vivre ensemble en musique et découvrir sur scène des duos inédits. La coordination de cet événement est assurée par l’équipe des inRocKuptibles, avec le soutien du Troisième Pôle. L’affiche du concert est en pièce jointe.

13eme rue is a French Tv channel specialized in thriller,
action and suspense.They just launched a provocative site which,
for information and warning, is rated 16+. 

You start by hiring a professional killer
(I suggest Monika or Oliver…) to kill one of your friend …

You give details and a picture of your target, and one of yourself.
You will then be able to watch the violent execution, as the site allows
a movie personalization, via a 3D integration of the picture.
Your victim receive a mail with a link to the site,
and after he has watched the video, he is invited to investigate
who is behind this crime, and can possibly release a new sequence.

The send-to a-friend as well as the picture upload mechanisms
are far from new, but it proves that when it is well executed it can still work.
The atmosphere and the topic are sinister and immoral,
and I understand it can hurt some people’s feelings.
Nevertheless it is consistent with the positionning of 13eme rue,
and it makes no doubt it will spread among its potential target.

National Foundation Day (建国記念の日 kenkoku kinen-no-hi) is a national holiday in Japan celebrated annually on February 11. On this day, Japanese celebrate the founding of the nation and the imperial line by its legendary first emperor, Jimmi, who established his capital in Yamato. 
February 11 is National Foundation Day, a national holiday for Japanese people to remind themselves of the nation’s founding and foster their love for the nation. Japan switched from the traditional Japanese calendar - a lunar calendar based on the waxing and waning of the moon - to the Gregorian calendar starting in January 1873. It was at this time that the day of the enthronement of Emperor Jinmu, the first Japanese emperor, was made a national holiday and named Kigen-setsu. February 11 was determined as the day of enthronement by calculating the date in the solar calendar corresponding to the date recorded in the Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan), Japan’s first history compiled on imperial orders. (However, many historians believe that Emperor Jinmu’s enthronement, as described in the Nihon Shoki, was not a historical fact but folklore.) Before World War II government offices and schools throughout Japan held all sorts of celebrations on Kigen-setsu, but after the war, the holiday was abolished for various reasons. Still, many voices lamented its passing, so that in 1966 the day was again made a national holiday as National Foundation Day.
